Hello! My name is Adam Goodrich.
When I was 12 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery followed by 15 months of chemotherapy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. During my time there, I met other children facing serious illnesses and saw firsthand how pain and uncertainty can affect both patients and their families.
That experience gave me a deep sense of empathy for people going through difficult situations. It taught me the importance of truly listening to someone, understanding what they are experiencing, and treating them as a person—not simply as a condition or a collection of symptoms.
I believe God has given me a gift for helping people through the work of my hands. That calling led me to a career in massage therapy and continues to motivate me to learn, grow, and refine my skills. I cannot imagine doing anything else.
Thank you for considering NKS Solutions to help you or someone you love move better, feel better, and return to the activities that matter most.
Education and Professional Experience
Adam began his healthcare career in the fall of 2005 at Mercy College of Ohio in Toledo. He earned an associate degree in therapeutic massage in May 2007 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist through the State Medical Board of Ohio the following month.
During his first four years in the profession, Adam worked in several healthcare environments, including an outpatient physical therapy facility in Marion, Ohio. After observing the work of the physical therapists there, he decided to expand his education by enrolling in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Marion Technical College in 2011.
Adam graduated with his second associate degree in May 2013 and became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant that July. Later that year, he joined Wyandot Memorial Hospital as a PTA. With the support of the hospital’s leadership, Adam developed a therapeutic massage program and served as director of the massage department from May 2016 through April 2018.
Adam then pursued his dream of opening his own practice, which became a reality on November 1, 2018.
In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Adam has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education. His advanced training includes:
● Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques
● Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
● Dynamic Cupping
● Kinesiology Taping
● Residual Strain Technique
● Visceral Manipulation
● Reflexive Performance Reset
● Applied neurology and functional movement
Today, Adam brings together his extensive hands-on experience, movement knowledge, and applied neurology training to help clients identify factors that may be contributing to pain or limiting performance. His goal is not only to help people feel better in the moment, but also to give them practical tools they can use to take a more active role in their progress.
